Congratulations on completing the DEI Assessment. Based upon your responses, your organization is in the phase we at Rework Work categorize as Action. Your organization leaders have begun the task of reviewing and revising the practices, policies and procedures of your organization. They know that talk is cheap, and action is demanded. In this phase, it’s important to remember that accountability, transparency and authenticity will be required to cultivate a truly inclusive workplace. With prior phases of Awareness and Alignment addressed, the organization is prepared to strategically continue taking action.
Working to identify the places where bias and inequities still lurk, you have made tremendous progress as you move along your diversity and inclusion journey. You know that to truly embed these as pillars in the workplace, there must be a deeper practice of inclusive leadership. Continuing the journey towards sustainability is the ultimate goal and will push your organization to the Advocacy phase.
